INTRO TO SELF DEFENSE
Our Intro to Self Defense class focuses on three key areas: conflict identification and avoidance, differentiation between social and asocial aggression and introduction to KAPAP Krav Maga. Our techniques emphasize targeting vulnerable areas for swift and powerful self-defense responses in real-life situations.
Class covers the following:
- Real life conflict avoidance
- Define social and asocial aggression
- Developing and knowing your limitations
- Verbal and non-verbal techniques when your individual bubble is intruded upon
- What criminals and assailants look for in a victim
- Role play to build muscle memory on how to defend yourself safely
- Tools based in KAPAP Krav Maga to use when violence seeks you out
- How to level the playing field when an attacker is larger than you or multiple attackers
- How to improve your response before violence starts
CONCEALED CARRY WEAPON (CCW)
Our CCW class covers three key areas:
- Firearm Safety
- Arizona’s concealed carry laws and the legal consequences of self-defense
- Armed/unarmed defense options
This class satisfies the minimum training requirements to obtain your Arizona CCW.
Class covers the following:
- Firearm safety
- Ethics for use of force
- AZ Law regarding carrying concealed
- Ammunition selection
- CCW application and process
- What to do after the trigger has been pulled
- Less than lethal options
*On Site Fingerprinting will be offered for $20 per set. Each application requires one set of fingerprint cards. State issued Fingerprint cards are not a permissible exception. Additionally, all trainees are required to complete, sign, & submit this course registration form before being allowed into class.
COMBAT CCW
Our Combat CCW class is designed for those that are familiar with their firearm and are wanting to build on existing skills. In addition to all topics covered in the Concealed Carry Weapons class, we go a bit further into the psychology of those that wish to inflict harm and how to meet violence when all other avenues have been exhausted.
Class covers the following:
- Target practice vs self defense targeting
- Carry for the occasion
- De-escalation techniques
- Intro to hand to hand combat
- Role play to build skills when your life is not in danger
- Tools in your tool box: Great idea or unorganized catastrophe
- Weapons of opportunity
- Don’t be a victim or a hero
- How to manage time when time is not available
